King Vulture
King Vulture
Unlike some vultures, king vultures have a poorly developed sense of smell. They watch for gatherings of other vultures to find food.
The king vulture has a more powerful beak than other New World vultures, so the weaker birds must sometimes wait for the king vulture to rip open a carcass before they can feed.
