Hammerkop
Hammerkop
Hammerkops build enormous nests of sticks in the fork of a tree, on a cliff, or on the ground. Several generations of the same family may have "apartments" within the nest. Hammerkop nests can weigh over 100 pounds. Other species will use empty nest chambers including genets, mongoose, monitors and snakes.
