Channel Catfish
Channel Catfish
The channel catfish feeds mainly at night using its long barbels and taste buds covering its skin to sense its prey. Contrary to popular belief, carrion is not its normal food.
These fish have been introduced to waters outside their natural range and are also farm raised for food.
