8th Annual BREW at the Zoo to be hosted on October 7th
August 10 2022
The Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation is set to host their 8th Annual BREW at the Zoo on October 7, 2022 from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets will go on sale to the public on August 15th at 8am at www.brzoobrew.org. This after hours, adults only, flagship craft-beer tasting event benefits the Baton Rouge Zoo Foundation, the non-profit supporter of BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo.
The event will feature live music and over 200 craft beers from local, regional and national breweries in addition to unique beers created by members of Baton Rouge-area homebrew associations. Food samplings from a myriad of local restaurants will be present to compliment the beer on tap and animal ambassadors will make an appearance throughout the evening.
Back by popular demand, VIP tickets will be offered this year. A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold, which will feature an hour early entry time at 6pm, express entry to skip the check-in lines & a commemorative glass pilsner.
“For the past seven years, this event has sold out,” said Jim Fleshman, Zoo Director. “BREW at the Zoo has become a flagship event in Baton Rouge as a whole. Our guests know that they are helping save wild animals in their natural habitats when they buy a ticket to BREW at the Zoo, as the proceeds go to support the Zoo and our conservation efforts.”
The event is open to adults 21 years+ & absolutely no children are allowed. VIP tickets are $100, General admission tickets are $50, and Designated Driver tickets are $20. Tickets go on sale August 15th at 8am.
