Guest Services Associate

The Guest Services Associate is a front line employee that works to accommodate the needs of guests and ensures the quality of products and service levels for all guests.   Guest Services Associates prepare food for zoo guests, operate POS system, handle daily revenue and are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work and service areas.

 

Requirements and Job Specifications:

Education Required:  High School diploma or equivalent

License Required:  Valid LA Drivers License

 

Essential Functions and Duties:

Prepares and serves food, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Loads, unloads, stocks and sells food items.
Cleans and sanitizes work area.
Operates POS, counts and remits cash receipts and provides fiscal accounting as required.
Sets up and closes down facility work and sales areas, indoors and outdoors.
 Provides Customer service to all customers.

Customer Service Skills
Basic math skills
Establish and maintain a positive attitude and high morale with all staff.
Ability to attain sanitation certificate within specified time frame.

 

Supplemental Information:

 

This is a part time position, whose hours are 29 hours maximum weekly.  Frequent weekend work.  An offer of employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment criminal background check, Motor Vehicle Records check, drug screen and physical.  To apply, please click here.
