Canada Goose

There are eleven recognized sub-species of the Canada goose.  Typically they are smaller as you go north and darker as you go west.

While some flocks of Canada geese stay in one area year-round, most migrate south in the fall and north in the spring.  Some migrate as far as 4000 miles.
