Eastern Black and White Colobus

The black and white colobus is the most arboreal species of African primate. It rarely leaves the trees and can leap 15 to 20 feet between limbs.

Troops are made up of one adult male and several females who are closely related to each other. Infants are born with white fur and all the females share in the care of infants, even nursing infants who are not theirs.
