Zoo Director Phil Frost Elected as Chairman of Louisiana Travel Promotion Association’s Board

Phil Frost, Director of BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo was installed as Chairman of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association (LTPA) Board of Directors at the association’s annual membership meeting at L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La.

“I am honored to be serving LTPA and the 750 members the association represents across the state,” said Phil Frost, Chairman. “This organization has worked to lead and strengthen Louisiana’s tourism industry for 55 years now and I look forward to working with my fellow board members to keep the momentum going.”

New officers installed on the executive board committee include the following: Mark Romig, with the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation, as vice-chairman; Travis Napper, with the Ruston-Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau, as secretary; Janice Delerno, with The Stockade Bed & Breakfast, as treasurer; and Linda Curtis-Sparks, with the Sabine Parish Tourist Commission, as immediate past chair.

New members on the board of directors are Marc Becker, with the New Orleans Hotel Collection; Peggy Benoit, with Carmel Inn & Suites Thibodaux; Jim Caldwell, with Kisatchie National Forest; Melissa Cloutier, with the Natchitoches Events Center; Andy LeBouef, with NOLA Hotel Group; and Vito Zuppardo, with Miles Media.
