Phil Frost Elected Chairman of the Board for Species360

Baton Rouge, La –  Phil Frost, Director of BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo, was recently elected Chairman of the Board for Species360, which is an international data sharing company aiding over 1,000 member institutions, including the global community of zoos, aquariums and other wildlife organizations in 90+ countries. The database software is available in English, French, Russian and Japanese. Frost has served on the board for Species360 for 5 years prior to this election.

The mission of Species360 is to aid members in saving endangered animals from extinction. Created by the members to advance global collaboration and information sharing, Species360 Zoological Information Management Software is the gold standard in animal record-keeping. The program’s insights help members exceed their conservation and sustainability goals for the diverse and endangered species in their care.
