BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo To Celebrate Veterans Day

On Saturday, November 11th, BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo is offering complimentary admission for active military and veterans, plus up to five guests when presenting a valid military ID.

This is the Zoo’s way to thank veterans, active duty military and their families for their sacrifices. It is a day set aside for them to enjoy spending time with their families and enjoy the zoo. There will also be a special bald eagle chat. Valid military ID’s must be presented upon entry.

The Zoo’s front gate admissions are open from 9:30a.m. – 4p.m., grounds close at 5p.m. More info:
