BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo & The Advocate Co-Host Photo Contest

BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo & The Advocate are co-hosting their annual Photo Contest again this year. It began on February 1, 2017 and ends on March 20, 2017. Participants are encouraged to submit photos at the Zoo in a variety of categories, listed below.
Judges will evaluate entries primarily based on general interest, photographic proficiency and reproductive quality. A panel of jurors, chosen from the professional community, will judge the entries and the winning entries will be displayed at Zippity Zoo Fest on April 1 & 2, 2017 at the Zoo & will receive a suite of prizes.
Children, ages 12 and younger (NOTE: Parent or guardian must register and submit photo for this category.)
Junior, ages 13 up to 18
Novice ADULT, beginners and nonprofessionals
Advanced ADULT, considerable experience to professional
Fun Foto, pictures of you, your family and/or friends having fun at the Zoo. (NOTE: The photo must be identifiable as being taken at Baton Rouge Zoo.)
