6th Annual BREW at the Zoo Event to be held on October 4, 2019

August 26 2019

Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo is set to host the 6th Annual BREW at the Zoo on October 4, 2019 from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 1st at www.brzoobrew.org for this flagship craft-beer tasting event, which benefits the Friends of the Zoo, the non-profit supporter of BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo.

The event will feature live music and over 200 craft beers from local, regional and national breweries in addition to unique beers created by members of Baton Rouge-area homebrew associations. Food tastings from a myriad of local restaurants and caterers will be present to compliment the beer on tap.

Back by popular demand, VIP tickets will be offered again this year.  Only 200 VIP tickets will be sold & these will feature earlier access with a 6pm entry. As well, VIP’s will enjoy an express entrance, access to the VIP zone, specialty food/drink, and VIP restrooms.

“For the past five years, this event has sold out,” said Phil Frost, Zoo Director. “BREW has become a flagship event not only at the Zoo, but in Baton Rouge as a whole. We certainly encourage everyone interested in coming to snag their tickets early, as they go fast.”

The event is open to adults 21 and older only. VIP tickets are $100 & General admission tickets are $50. For those interested in attending but not drinking, a special $20 “Designated Driver” ticket is available which will allow them access to all food and non-alcoholic beverages.
