Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo is set to host the 5th Annual BREW at the Zoo on October 5, 2018 from 7pm – 10pm. Tickets are now on sale at www.brzoobrew.org for this flagship craft-beer tasting event, which benefits the Friends of the Zoo, the non-profit supporter of BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo.

The event will feature live music and over 200 craft beers from local, regional and national breweries in addition to unique beers created by members of Baton Rouge-area homebrew associations. Food tastings from over a dozen local restaurants will be present to compliment the beer on tap.

An exciting addition this year is the inclusion of VIP ticketing.  Only 200 VIP tickets will be sold & these will feature earlier access with a 6pm entry. As well, VIP’s will enjoy an express entrance, access to the VIP tent, specialty food and drink and special air-conditioned restrooms.

“For the past four years, this event has sold out,” said Phil Frost, Zoo Director. “BREW has become a flagship event not only at the Zoo, but in Baton Rouge as a whole. We certainly encourage everyone interested in coming to snag their tickets early, as they go fast.”

The event is open to adults 21 and older only. VIP tickets are $100 & General admission tickets are $50. For those interested in attending but not drinking, a special $20 “Designated Driver” ticket is available which will allow them access to all food and non-alcoholic beverages.
